Privacy Policy

The short version

FreeEntry.org is a directory you can read without an account. There are no forms and no newsletter, and no advertising trackers. We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages are useful; it sets cookies in your browser to do that. We don't set cookies of our own.

What gets logged

Like nearly every website, our server records basic request details: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user agent. We use these logs for security and to fix problems, and keep them for a limited time. We don't sell them or use them to build profiles.

Third parties involved in showing the site

• Cloudflare sits in front of the site for security and delivery, and processes your request and IP address to do that.
• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: measure how the site is used (pages viewed, rough location, device and browser) with cookies such as _ga. You can block them with your browser's settings or Google's opt-out add-on.
• Google Fonts: your browser downloads our fonts from Google, which receives your IP address.
• YouTube: pages with a sponsor's video load a preview image from YouTube. The video itself loads, from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, only if you click play.

Each of these companies handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Links to sponsors

We link to sponsors' websites and official rules. When you leave FreeEntry.org, or mail or submit an entry to a sponsor, the information you give them is covered by their privacy policy, not ours. We never receive your entries, and we never enter on your behalf.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
